Traffic Exchange Programs -
Wikipedia Definition: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traffic_exchanges
A traffic exchange website receives website submissions from webmasters that join traffic exchange networks. The person who submitted the website then has to browse other member sites on the exchange program to earn credits, which enable their sites to be viewed by other members through the surf system. This increases the number of visitors to all the sites involved. Read More… Click Here!

The following Traffic Exchanges are what are known as Manual Traffic Exchanges. With Manual Traffic Exchanges you will manually have to surf from site to site according to the timer set for that exchange. When the timer expires you are then able to surf to the next site. Credits for surfing a site range, depending on the exchange, from 1/3 credit to 1 credit per site viewed. For each one credit your receive for surfing the sites you will have your site shown one time.

Mark A. Michael says:
Will take a look at a few of these. Questions how does Google view links from these sites?
Second Income Review says:
Mark- Appreciate your taking the time to visit and comment. I have never seen Google rank any links on TE’s or email safelists, so I am not sure. Also, I use link shorteners, such as the ibourl or bit.ly when using these sites for add’l tracking of results, and don’t believe Google ranks these to highly.
Dennis Thorgesen says:
Mark and Robert I have used my domain link on traffic exchanges. From Alexa’s point of view it is not considered a backlink. It has since been removed from the traffic exchange. The short visits hurt my page rank. Google wants to see people interacting with websites. If visitors pull out too fast it is a bounce. When people are surfing for credits your bounce rate is very high.
Second Income Review says:
Dennis- Thank you for your insights. Do you still use any of the TEs? Do you have a separate capture page for TE use so it does not hurt your site’s ranking?
